I was wondering if it was too much trouble to have a " OSU Commit" forum instead of having to scroll down a whole page just to see the updated topics in the recruiting forum. Its not a big deal. i was just asking. Thanks

Is it possible to leave the signees threads in recruiting and just start a new one now that they're Buckeyes? Just seems to me that'd be the better way to go, separating two phases of their lives.

could one of you guys just give me a call when someone commits? It would be a lot easier than me having to come out here and check all the time.

You guys do a great job!! I have no idea how you guys get through a day like yesterday, and have regular jobs at the same time.

I am in agreement with that one as well. First, it has become a PITA to locate threads because they are moved/merged too frequently. Second, four years from now the Chris Wells thread will be 250 pages long with over 100 pages of his high school exploits (90 pages will be crap like, 'eh, we need to get this guy!'). :roll2:

I'd rather see the high school threads locked and archived, then make new threads in the Buckeye Football main board with the first post being a link to the old recruiting thread for posterity.

I was thinking about this the other day and came to the same conclusion.

Yeah they do but in my opinion I don't think it's too much to ask to just split the two threads to narrow the searchable info.

The people who have been here awhile know about the search function but some newer members may not.

Just my two cents.

is the future plan to also merge chris wells' professional exploits in with the recruiting and buckeye thread?

I think it is fun to go back and look at a recruits thread in a few years and see what we expected. Likewise it is fun to go back also and see what reviews a kid got when he first arrived in columbus. If there are not separate threads, it could be an arduous task of finding the start of the players collegiate career (ie Wells will likely have an enormous thread).
