But he wasn't much different than Egbuka in '21 or Burton in '22. Not to mention that Jameson Williams can also play similar to Cooper. Sad to see him go, but his loss is but a blip

Wilson in the slot and Egbuka committing made this happen. I don't blame the kid at all. Better to see it early and take advantage of the Covid procedures to go somewhere where you'll play. The demise of DeMario McCall is happening in real time. That has to be like watching Death of a Salesman if you're a tweener RB/slot guy.

The demise of Demario McCall is because of Demario McCall. He was average at both RB and WR. Cooper could’ve fit in this offense in the slot and on jet sweeps. Wilson has excelled at that in this offense, and has developed into a damn good WR. But Cooper would’ve had an uphill battle to see the field, and it seems like he saw that too. But I don’t think Day is the type of HC to not realize mismatches, and the RB/slot position has been transitioned, but it still could be utilized

Same here. I loved that gif that really showed his lateral quickness and anticipation. Had really hoped to see him on the field in S&G at some point.

I thought Mookie would be a perfect compliment to the guys we brought in during his recruiting class last year, as well as with the WRs we had in our room

Good luck to Mookie at Mizzou! Looking forward to seeing you tear up some of those teams in the SEC
