RB/WR Curtis Samuel (Washington Commanders)

Huge, huge, huge. Samuel, in my eyes, is the most dynamic playmaker we have in this class now. His change of direction and recovery speed off his cuts are what make him so special to me...the top-end speed is a big plus as well. In rewatching his film, his vision of the field and feel for when to make one cut and get north versus shake n' bake is really impressive too.

Welcome to the family Curtis! :osu: Oh and get in Holley's ear so we can lock down both NY 5 stars

You seem to be forgetting parris Campbell as well

If that was the case, I'd be forgetting a lot of people! Parris Campbell won't have the same immediate impression Dontre and Curt will on this team. Parris has some filling out to do, in part because he's so young.

It's like every fast and explosive recruit we bring in fits that Percy Harvin role, or at least that's what the staff is selling. Pretty scary having 4-5 Percy-types running around the field @ once.

I hate that they assign a players name for the position of a player from one of Urban's past teams but the sales pitch is working so keep using it until it don't work anymore, I guess. Keep reeling them in.

U can only have so many Percy's though. There is only one football for all these potentially great play makers to share. I just hope they buy in b/c w/ so many game breakers in this offense, u aren't going to see gaudy individual numbers but the team stats and offensive production could be off the charts w/ all these weapons @ their disposal to draw up plays for. Defenses can't take it all away. UNREAL the type of talent they are bringing in.

Welcome to the Buckeye Family!!!

Another Five Star Commits To OSU

After much anticipation, Brooklyn (N.Y.) Erasmus Hall five-star athlete Curtis Samuel has committed to Ohio State, his coach Danny Landberg reported to 247Sports.

Considered the leader to land the elite playmaker for much of the process, Samuel pulled the trigger for the Buckeyes and becomes the second five-star pledge for head coach Urban Meyer and his staff in the class-of-2014, joining the nation?s top-ranked outside linebacker Dante Booker.
Aside from the usual Bucknuts mangling of the English language, this is a pretty informative piece.
