RB TreVeyon Henderson (Official Thread)

In his first three years at Ohio State, Henderson has been one of the most dynamic running backs in college football, rushing for 2,745 yards and 32 touchdowns on 446 carries and adding 50 catches for 569 yards and five more touchdowns. Already ranking 15th in school history in rushing yards, 11th in rushing touchdowns, 18th in all-purpose yards and tied for eighth in touchdowns scored, Henderson could establish himself among Ohio State’s all-time great running backs with a prolific senior year.

With his return, Ohio State projects to have the nation’s top running back pairing in Henderson and Quinshon Judkins, a two-time All-SEC running back at Mississippi who announced his transfer to Ohio State on Monday. Redshirt sophomore Dallan Hayden and true freshmen James Peoples and Sam Williams-Dixon will provide additional depth in a loaded room.

Henderson joins a long list of players from the 2021 recruiting class who have opted to return to Ohio State for their senior seasons that also includes wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, left guard Donovan Jackson, defensive ends Jack Sawyer and JT Tuimoloau, defensive tackle Tyleik Williams and cornerbacks Denzel Burke and Jordan Hancock.

Yeah, but Henderson and Judkins have to stay healthy. Getting Judkins is really a plus here. I don't think that Henderson is a 25 to 30 carries a game back. He's going to benefit by having Judkins to share the workload.

They both will. Judkins in his first year of college ball was fed 270 times, followed up last year by another 270!

This is absolutely perfect for both. They each get to showcase their skills and stay healthy for next years draft.

This.

We are putting the cart before the horse.

Rarely does a team win it when expected.
