It's a pro-style backfield. You actually get the best out of the two of them, by having them split carries and do different things. Trey is looking excellent in this role.

I read an article that the writer analyzed how many hits a RB can take over a college/pro career.. made a lot of sense
Splitting carries w TreVeyon and Quinshon will extend both careers.. Zero doubt they both know this and welcome it

If I remember it was something like the 1800-carry cliff... or maybe it was 1500
It included the correlation with carries and why avg NFL RBs generally only last 3-4 yrs

1. TreVeyon Henderson​

TreVeyon Henderson returned to the Ohio State football program to win a national championship. He also wanted to have a healthy season. He hasn't been healthy for most of his career. Against Michigan State, he was instrumental to the success of the offense.

Henderson had seven carries for 69 yards, including a long 37-yard burst. His rushing wasn't the best part of his game. His pass protection was unbelievable. He helped keep the quarterback clean on two touchdowns when blitzers came firing in. That's part of what makes him so valuable.
