RB TreVeyon Henderson (Official Thread)

I'd like to see more. Loads of potential, but way too often does he go down after first contact. That's why I think he should be the change-of-pace/3rd down back and Miyan should be the feature back.

He dances a little still when he’s around the LOS; he seems to decide and his burst allows him to get that 4 -5 then he usually has a few hats on him. He’s an interesting case because I’ve seen him break tackles albeit against the weaker competition

Kindof agree. I thought he was going to be special last year and now I'm not sure. Still a very good player obviously but I thought he was going to be a Mt Rushmore type back

I didn’t know what he was but I was led to believe he was the Mt Rushmore back. I think he has the talent but does he have that “it” factor you know when you see it.

Haven't seen the bubble screen to him this season. That play introduced him to the world against Minnie to open the 2021 season. Hard to assess how hard he runs when the other two backs are Williams and Hayden.

Certainly didn't expect to see him trailing Corum, Singleton, and Ibraham in the BTN game highlights. Maybe - just a SWAG here - it's because teams have been playing to stop the big play. Long spectacular runs usually involve a lineman or a receiver getting a block on a linebacker or a corner. That's difficult to do when the lbs and corners are dropping back as soon as the ball is snapped.

I've actually noticed he's hitting holes quicker than last year. I'm on team pork chop, but we NEED Henderson and his vision has improved.
I’m with you on this. I think there’s a little too much nitpicking on Henderson. The kid is a true home run threat, but this year seems to be fine with getting 5-6yds and hitting holes, as opposed to trying too hard for a long run like last year and having some losses or going down at 2-3yds. I have the utmost confidence that he’ll still break some big ones this year, but Pork Chop is a really good true RB that just punishes the defense. These 2 are the closest I’ve seen to a Bush/White type backfield in a long time. And the OL run blocking has been very good, be patient folks
