Kurelic did not say that Wells was a GT lean. Kurelic said he could end up at tOSU just as easily as GT. :)

Then that also leaves Gonzo and Lyons to be covered by safeties, and if Hall plays te, to be covered by a lb. Next year our offense might be aboe 80 ranked in the nation but you never know. :)bukIpower said:Man do we ever need Wells. life does indeed go on, and I'm sure we'd be fine next year at running back with Pittman, and Haw. However if Wells commits I truely believe he would play a TON, and in doing so he'd definatly keep haw and pittman fresh. I truely believe we need this kid. Mainly because of his vesitality, and his speed. Lets say this kid is a threat also catching the ball. If we move him around like they do bush over at USC, and are forced to cover him with a linebacker because Holmes, and Ginn are getting covered by Db's (sometimes doubled). Then Bush I MEAN wells would truely do wonders in the flats and catching the ball and getting those yards that we need coming outta the back field as a reciever.
Wells is rated as the #3 APB. I don't know what they mean by all-purpose-back, but I think it just means they're receivers and runners.SSUBuck said:I was on the rivals.com site today and noticed that Maurice Wells wasn't even in their Top 25 RB recruits? What happened to him, last I recalled he was rated pretty highly?

I'll be comfortable with the Well's situation when he signs a letter of intent for tOSU. He looks like a perfect fit as a Buckeye RB (APB or not), I'm hoping Maurice sees the same thing.Alan said:I am very comfortable with the wells situation right now.....great kid, great ability, great family....
