RB Maurice Clarett (B1G Freshman of the Year, National Champion)

$$$$$$... if it is overturned, he can claim he was deprived the right of imploymen, and sue the league to get some money. That would piss the league off, and I'm sure his attorney (who's looking out for his best interest :slappy: ) would get the bulk of the loot for his legal services...

MoC cannot stand to be out of the lime light... he is a cancer in every sense of the word!

It is funny how many OSU fans defended him after he appeared like a worthless thug on the cover of ESPN the magazine during the 2002 season by claiming how the ESPN photographers manipulated his apperance. Yeah, sure. :roll1:

Yup, one last hurrah before he sees himself fall off of NFL draft boards altogether, especially once he shows up at NFL combines this winter still out of shape and likely 15-20 pounds overweight.

Should've ... been a brilliant career.
Would've ... still left this year with 4,000+ career yards (ahead of Eddie and behind only Archie).
Could've ... been a Top-5 draft pick, a Heisman finalist, and the catalyst of back-to-back national championships.

I hope whatever he begged, borrowed and stole was worth it, cause he could've had all of Ohio eating out of his hand for the rest of his life if he'd had his head on straight - that's the most tragic thing he lost. He would've achieved "Archie" status. Hell, Mo C would've made more in commercial endorsements and speaking fees around central Ohio than he would have ever seen with top pick NFL money and a decent career.

On the bright side, Clarett will only be remembered as a distant black eye on tOSU's record. If he had made it thru school relatively clean, he surely would have pulled some sort of stunt in the pros and been even more famous and harmful to tOSU.

They in fact did distort what he said and manipulate the photo shoot...they admitted doing so. The only thing that ESPN the Rag got right is that they predicted how he'd turn out.

"He believes that he should have been allowed to play in the league when he was ready and when the league was ready to have him," Milstein said Tuesday.
in other words......he's fat and out of shape and is looking for a way to get $$$ out of the NFL for his fuckup.
