If he's really a 4.3 at 225 pounds that's the same speed as Curtis Samuel but just 30 pounds heavier.

I'm thinking he's closer to 4.41 than Curtis' 4.31. That's still impressive for a big back

Love this guy - the way he runs in terms of speed and physicality. I always wonder when the 2 guy comes in and looks good how much is that due to the 1 softening up the defense, but it doesn't negate the talent that is obviously there. Would like to see it against, say, Wisky and Sparty before I ordain him the next big thing. But it looks like we have a pair. Do we have a spare?

I have a feeling Master is going to be very important to our offense in conference play. Dude runs like a Big Ten back for sure. Went from thinking he may not even be healthy to start the year to putting up some impressive performances. Me likey.

Running like that and initiating contact also helps with injury prevention. Collision sports are all about energy transference and you want to equalize or better that exchange. I love to see both of them accelerating into tackles. It’s also eventually demoralizing for defenders if done right. You want them, after one or two of those, to be thinking, instead of doing their jobs, fuck, I’ve got to tackle this guy again. Of course, demoralization is easier when they're not wearing helmets and pads.
