2013 should not be a year where you put the development of a young player for future years ahead of the success of a Senior who could help us win now.
Of course we are always developing players, but I still want the best 22 for next year on the field.
Bumps and bruises: Redshirt possible for Hall

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Another injury setback could potentially bring an end to the season for Jordan Hall.
It might also extend the career of the running back at Ohio State.
Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer confirmed after practice on Wednesday that redshirting the senior remains a possibility heading into the final month of the season as Hall continues to struggle to get healthy and back on the field.
"He re-dinged [his knee], so I don?t know," Meyer said. "He?s not even practicing.
"I think [a redshirt] is [an option], I think it is now. I had to find out even if it?s a possibility, and it is."

Obviously, sucks for him to miss games and so on, but it has to be better for him and the school if he can come back 100% next season. His NFL stock could potentially rise if he can stay healthy and make an impact, and the Buckeyes NC aspirations would get another boost.
Ohio State football: Urban Meyer says Jordan Hall will redshirt this season

Ohio State running back Jordan Hall will miss the rest of the season, take a redshirt year and return in 2013, Coach Urban Meyer said on 97.1 The Fan on Thursday afternoon.
A three-year letter-winner, Hall has played sparingly this season because of injuries.
He missed the beginning of the season with a foot laceration that required surgery. Then he partially tore the posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during Ohio State?s 17-16 win over Michigan State in Week 6.
Hall is third on the Buckeyes in rushing with 218 yards on 40 carries. He has one touchdown on the ground and three catches for 31 yards.
In recent weeks, Meyer and the OSU coaching staff have said redshirting Hall wasn?t in the thought process. That process obviously has changed.
Meyer said Hall is ?bouncing around a little bit,? but the plan now is for Hall to redshirt and return next year.
Meyer lamented in recent weeks the injury to Hall.
?You just hate to see that because it?s a kid who has worked his tail off, one of the hardest-working guys we had in the offseason,? Meyer said.
