RB Jordan Hall (Official Thread)

Hall and Hyde in the 2009 class would give us 5 scholarship tailbacks in 2009 (C. Wells, Saine, Herron, Hall, and Hyde) if Beanie stayed for his senior year, four if Beanie bailed. Four scholarship tailbacks are plenty (one more than Woody's famous "pair and a spare"). If Beanie bails as expected, we'd have Saine as a junior, Herron as a RS soph, and Hall and Hyde as true freshmen, and you could bet that at least one if not both of Hall and Hyde would be redshirted barring injury to Saine and/or Herron. If Beanie stayed, both Hall and Hyde are absolutely guaranteed to be redshirted.

So, yes, taking two tailbacks in this class would be enough,

Plus, Lamaar Thomas might some some spot duty there as well. That gives you a fifth option for tailback.

From the OSU site...talks about winning a basketball state title. Favors Ohio State and talks about his contact with the staff. Talks about possible spring visits to UM, ND and OSU.

Has offers from OSU, UM, PSU, and Pitt. What is everyone's take? Would he have those offers if he didn't go to the same school as Pryor (since they all came before Pryor's committment). Don't want to knock the kid t'all-just curious.

Well considering it was common knowledge he was OSU-bound when those offers poured in, and ND had no shot at Pryor (tried to talk WR), I don't agree with your assertion about the timing at all.

While looking for some Pitt-area FB player photos, I ran across this great shot of Jordan:

Stewart was 218 in high school...let's let Jordan be his own RB.

Hall

The picture of Hall - I hope the picture was taken when he was in the process of changing the ball carrying hand (right to left). Otherwise, that a fumble awaiting to happen! BTW, Stewart was a big solid rock even when he was in high school, much different that Hall is or will be.
