RB Jordan Hall (Official Thread)

Reminds me of Smith/Ginn and Oden/Conley. Talented friends who wanted to continue thier youth careers in College.

His measurables look outstanding, but not as outstading as others. If he has a great Sr. year I think he is a priority.

Rivals (Film)

This is film from Jeannette's WPIAL championship game against Beaver Falls. It has a lot about Pryor but Hall was dominant. He showed some great hands in that video and seemed to have decent size. It looks like Hall is pretty versatile, so that's a plus.

Wearing an SC sweatshirt to your friend's press conference when he announces for Ohio State? For shame, Jordan. :shake: :tongue2:

According to a report published by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Hall received offers from Big Ten schools Ohio State and Michigan and from Notre Dame, who plays an independent schedule.
Jeannette head coach Ray Reitz did confirm the Ohio State offer Tuesday evening, but said he hadn't received anything from South Bend.
The offers by the Wolverines, Buckeyes, and Irish give the Jeannette running back a total of five Division-1 offers, with Pitt and Penn State the others.
Interesting dichotomy on ND & OSU reports... looking forward to having it clarified by the bprt...

In the limited film from the Rivals feature on Jeaneatte I posted, Hall looked very good. I would say he is more of an athlete at this point and I think he could play slot or RB, similar to Flash...though the comparison stops there. If we get Hall and Hyde, I would expect us to take a 3rd RB-type out of Toussaint, Golden, and Berry.

Did anyone notice the 61 yd QB sneak?

It wasn't even a draw....it was a "from under center" QB sneak!!!!

And Hall look pretty darn good too!!

Hall did look good from what we could see. Tough and versatile. Looks for real and what he has said at Rivals, likes tOSU as leader once offered. Now that thats happened, assume he accepts....are we done? Or are we still looking?
Hated losing Devoe, and that we didn't have a RB in an otherwise near-perfect class, but aren't we still a little thin there. Even if Hyde comes aboard too, is that enough?

Hall and Hyde in the 2009 class would give us 5 scholarship tailbacks in 2009 (C. Wells, Saine, Herron, Hall, and Hyde) if Beanie stayed for his senior year, four if Beanie bailed. Four scholarship tailbacks are plenty (one more than Woody's famous "pair and a spare"). If Beanie bails as expected, we'd have Saine as a junior, Herron as a RS soph, and Hall and Hyde as true freshmen, and you could bet that at least one if not both of Hall and Hyde would be redshirted barring injury to Saine and/or Herron. If Beanie stayed, both Hall and Hyde are absolutely guaranteed to be redshirted.

So, yes, taking two tailbacks in this class would be enough,
