RB Jaamal Berry (Transfer to Murray State)

Awesome news. Just checked out some of his highlight films (sorta holding off not getting my hopes up too much) all I can say is WOW. His running style reminds me of a mix of Terrell Davis and Reggie Bush. He makes just a little cut in the hole (using his vision) to angle away from incoming defenders, yet he will also pop those ankle breaking moves like Bush. Besides him becoming a Buckeye, the thing I like best is his lowering his shoulder and helmet to get all the yardage he can, he's not the biggest back, but he's also not afraid of contact.

So, Scout thinks he needs to improve his breakaway speed? After watching that I'm totally lost. What is thier standard for breakaway speed?? Or it could be that they couldn't find much else to complain about.

I was actually curious how ESPN Scouts Inc. was going to knock Berry down, if they do.

He's rated as their No. 1 tailback. Perhaps maybe he has to prove it on the field, as they said regarding some other 2009 OSU recruits

A "Berry" Good Day For Ohio State

Scout.com: A 'Berry' Good Day For Ohio State

Scout Article

Miami Palmetto superstar tailback Jaamal Berry is the 25th member of the 2009 Ohio State recruiting class. Berry committed to Buckeye head coach Jim Tressel earlier today. The landing of Berry is yet another five-star recruit in this amazing class. Bill Greene spoke with Berry immediately after the commitment and has this report.

"I am a Buckeye," Jaamal Berry

I really can't believe he committed already, this recruiting class is so sick, it's like playing a video game! I'm wondering if Rivals and ESPN jerk us over on the rankings again, but really who cares, our proof will be winning several more National Championships over the next 3-5 years! Go Bucks!!!

Yeah, Baby!!!

My kid loves Barry Sanders but was hardly even born before Sanders retired. So he never got to see him run, live.
Now, he will.

And, yeah, Pryor and Berry in that pistol formation that Pryor was running with Mow Wells - sick.
