I feel like this is less about the NFL, and a lot more about the facts. Nothing I have seen proves Zeke touched her, or that is is innocent. If his voicemails are released, and it is her threatening to falsely accuse him, then the NFL failed in a big time way by not listening to Zeke's side.

Roger G does not want to look like an idiot. If he looked at all possible situations, and Zeke is guilty, then he is "lucky" to only get 6 games. If the evidence is shaky, and they tossed out a suspension to send a message, or just in case he is guilty, that's fucked up.

Not so fast my friend. Where are the fax and evidents that you believe the NFL possess? In the case of PSU there was actually a report, here it is more of a trust me we got the goods, so far. Iirc Zeke is from the Show Me State and I would think he would like to have his day in the court of public opinion to refute charges he has previously had dismissed.

Elliott, is this the same case that the bouncer, among others, swore she was in a bar fight with someone else? I want to know if this punishment is about something more than what I have already read about, which was hotly contested, allegedly a set-up, and resulted in no charges. Punishment shouldn't happen based on accusations alone, but I feel like that is good enough for Goodell.

Yes, I distrust the man that much. By all means, Goodell should release the damning proof he has, in order to do right by the victim and make Zeke get his criminal punishment, since he must have a smoking gun, right?

Edit: The NFL and Goddell don't really inspire any confidence regarding these types of issues for me. There is just too much inconsistency in the decisions and punishment/fines for my taste.

According to the NFL, Zeke basically had to have detailed pics of her before and after the alleged bar fight and also before he saw her that evening in order to prove the bar fight and not Zeke was to blame. Even video of her in a bar fight wouldn't be enough. Zeke couldn't meet his burden of proof. Apparently testimony is not proof per Roger Goodell.
