six games without a charge.Darth Goodell strikes again.
There is ZERO consistency in the punishment the league hands out, and that's the biggest issue. It's like they have no self awareness.
Look, it sounds like Zeke is no angel, but six games without a conviction? Absurd.
Goodell and his lackeys are ruining the NFL just like that Hobbit David Stern did the NBA.
six games without a charge.
Yep. I understand that falls under the very grey "personal conduct policy"...but six games? GTFOH.six games without a charge.
Not to diverge the conversation, but the NCAA is just as bad in its inconsistencies. I have an issue with how these leagues operate and hand outf these decisions and punishments. There is ZERO consistency in the punishment the league hands out, and that's the biggest issue. I don't agree with it, but I'm not surprised.
The domestic violence accusations are flimsy at best, or so it seems and had that been all there was, Zeke might've gotten a slap on the wrist - if that. However, when you add in the St. Patty's Day incident, the shopping at a head shop, the fight at the club.....none of which are a big deal on their own; but combined with the DV accusations, it becomes a pretty alarming trend that the NFL is going to consider needs to be addressed.
Oh, I don't disagree that some league-intervention is/was probably needed, Zeke has been in the news for the wrong reasons too many times, and needs to grow up and learn some responsibility. However, six games when he has ZERO charges or convictions against him is awfully heavy handed, especially considering some of the other punishments doled out to guys with actual convictions/charges.I don't agree with it, but I'm not surprised.
