I'm sorry but Jax here all the evidence the last few years has shown NFL investigations are a joke to support a predetermined conclusion they already reached. They are as bad if not worse then NCAA.

If they have any new evidence they found in their investigation they should immediately take it to the police to reopen the investigation. Otherwise it looks like the NFL is making the facts support it's conclusion again.

Yes. I'm sure Roger woke up one day six months ago and said "I think I'll go suspend a young star from the Cowboys today because it will be good for the NFL in so many different ways."

I believe they had the same evidence, just thought the accuser was more credible than the local authorities (her credibility is the part that is questionable based on the threats to ruin his career that others witnessed, and a text message instructing a friend to lie and claim he abused her), and the burden of proof was on Zeke to show the bar fight caused her bruises. I can't say I know what happened, but there is a lot of stuff that supports Zeke's claims and suggest he was set up.

The NFL has their players in position to be punished in any case of false accusations, because the players have to prove they didn't do what they were alleged to do, and this case suggests a bunch of people testifying would not be conclusive enough evidence to disprove it for the NFL.

Giving goodell all this power was the smartest things the NFL owners could have done. The players have the NFLPA to fight for them. The billionaire owners give goodell a couple million dollars a year to take all the punches for them and keep their names out of the news. He's a very well paid patsy. Win-win.

I never said Elliott wasn't flawed, but in this instance, there is some evidence of an intent to harm him and that he is telling the truth. Hence no criminal charges (unlike Jerry Sandusky). So do we ignore the possibility of false accusations completely? That seems to be the NFL way.

It seems to be primarily an OSU rule, which includes Dez as a bonus.

And to be quite clear, I'm not defending Zeke. Just speaking to the set of rules for osu alumni and college baggage.

I never said no reason. They have a reason, it is called an accusation. The problem is with the NFL system, any accusation means there will be a punishment from the NFL since you have to have conclusive proof of your innocence to win your case. I believe nothing short of detailed and clear pictures of the accuser before and after the bar fight she was in would be enough to help Zeke in this case. Who would actually document that stuff in real life?

So all anyone has to do to get an NFL star suspended is accuse him of something?
