I think it's pretty common this time of year, actually. Schools look at what's left on their boards and start throwing hail marys.

It's a little odd. You usually see some late offers thrown out there a week before signing day or so but it's from the big boys to commits of the lower half of the major conferences or below offers or to kids that grew up fans of the school. not from big boys after big boys recruits a week before signing day.

It's not like Urb isn't guilty of firing a few shots over a few bows. Big Boy's don't wear kids' gloves.

I'll admit it. I have loved following recruiting more in the last two years than any time under JT. The Brew Crew (less TP) was a fun class, but the last two classes have been a LOT more fun to see come together.

How many runningbacks could Alabama possibly take? I truly wonder how good Saban would be without the ability to oversign and run what amounts to half of a NFL training camp in Tuscaloosa. It would certainly help justify his dramatic change in success after leaving MSU.

Somebody tweeted that he was offered by Alabama as a defensive back. I will try to find it.
