Ezekiel Elliott texted me saying the meeting with OSU coaches yesterday went "really good." Said they talked about his role in the offense.
He did not text which way he was leaning and said no interviews until National Signing Day.
In April, St. Louis (Mo.) John Burroughs running back Ezekiel Elliott committed to Ohio State while on an unofficial visit to Columbus. After a weekend official to visit to Missouri, Elliott appears set to announce his final decision on National Signing Day.
"My signing ceremony is at my school at 3 pm. Everyone come out," Elliott tweeted around 9:30 PM Tuesday, later clarifying the date of his ceremony to by Feb. 6.
Two minutes later, Elliott tweeted again, "I will not be doing any interviews until Feb 6th on signing day."

I tend to believe it's the latter since reaffirming his commitment would seem like a no-brainer, especially if he still views himself as a commit to OSU. Expect the worst, hope for the best. Either way, we'll be okay.

1. Pinkell has an in home vist left
2. He's announcing at a ceremony at his school in Missouri
3. It would have been fairly easy to publicly reaffirm OSU
Anything could happen, but overall, the signs point down

What will Ezekiel Elliott do? That is the question.
The area?s top prospect, the Burroughs senior running back has been verbally committed to Ohio State since April but took an official visit to Missouri last weekend.
?It?s one last look at Missouri and showing respect to my home school and to my mother and father?s alma mater,? Elliott told ESPN.com last week.
The 6-foot, 205-pound speedster hasn?t spoken with reporters since his visit to Columbia ? he did not return a phone call for comment from the Post-Dispatch ? and, a week before National Signing Day, isn?t giving any clues as to which school he will sign with. He is still committed to the Buckeyes, but his official visit to Missouri leaves open the possibility of a late switch.
Elliott has strong family ties to the Tigers. His father, Stacy, was a defensive end/linebacker at Mizzou and was roommates with former Hazelwood Central standout running back Tony Van Zant. His mother, Dawn, competed in the heptathlon for the Tigers? track and field team.
The Alton native would be a significant addition to Missouri?s recruiting class, which already includes five area prospects. Elliott is rated by Scout.com as the ninth-best running back and 47th-best prospect in the senior class, while Rivals.com rates him 12th among running backs and 83rd overall and ESPN ranks him 11th among running backs and 109th overall.
Elliott was the Post-Dispatch offensive player of the year this fall after he accounted for 3,061 all-purpose yards and an area-best 50 touchdowns in leading the Bombers to a 13-1 record and a third consecutive Missouri Class 3 runner-up finish. He rushed for 2,155 yards, averaging 10.6 yards per carry, and 40 touchdowns. He added 383 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 16 receptions. He also had 523 yards and another six scores on returns.
