I'm really sad to see him go. Hopefully he'll shine at UCLA and help them beat USC.

Disappointed at slipping from second- to fourth-string on the depth chart, running back Erik Haw is leaving Ohio State.
The running back, a thirdyear sophomore from Independence High School, has asked for and been granted his release from the Buckeyes, team spokesman Steve Snapp said.
Haw is exploring transfer opportunities, but it’s unclear where he may end up. He could not be reached for comment last night.
His coach at Independence, Alan Jones, said Haw is considering three or four schools but did not identify them.
"He doesn’t see the possibility of playing at OSU," Jones said. "He feels he’s paid his dues and now it’s time to move on."
Haw faced a struggle for playing time this fall. Incumbent starter Antonio Pittman returns after a 1,300-yard season, as does the top backup, Maurice Wells. And star recruit Chris Wells is expected to push for immediate playing time.
If he transfers to another Division I-A school, Haw would have to sit out a year but still would have two years of eligibility remaining.
He played sparingly last year as the third-string back. He appeared in four games, totaling 61 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries and catching two passes for six yards.
Snapp also said cornerback Mike Roberts has transferred to Indiana State and defensive lineman Sian Cotton is no longer on the team.
