RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

That may be true, but...

just because you apply there, you dont have to enroll there.

there's a definite protocol for early enrollment at OSU and CW seems to be following it. Maybe Petey can influence the process at SC, but I don't think he can change a semester system into a quarter one. The quarter system at OSU is an important difference between the two schools. From all I have read, CW plans to graduate from Garfield in January...Looks like a Winter or Spring quarter enrollment to me:oh: :io:

SC & Davis

According to Bill Conley, Fred Davis was all-but-lost to the Bucks during summer of his senior season and the door was wide open for his SC recruitment. It's reasonable to assume that SC coaches had plenty of time to get Davis through all early enrollment protocols and into classes for the SC spring semester (probably a few days/weeks late). The recruiting scenario and time frame is not so amenable this time. Come spring, CW will be wearing the scarlet and gray :oh: :io:

On his trip to USC:

Chris Wells - "That was amazing. This was great for me to come out and see these dudes do their thing, it was crazy man, crazy. The thing that most impressed me was their blocking schemes, they just seemed to know what they were doing. And the atmosphere, man, that was great. I've always wanted to come up here to USC and now that I've been here I've only got two words to say...California love".

Chris was hosted on the visit by Fred Davis, the two didn't know each other in Ohio but Chris said he had definitely been reading about Fred for a long time. Chris said he still considers himself an Ohio State commit at this point.

The one thing you can't teach is his size and speed. His size gives him an edge at blocking people. His speed , once the college game slows down for him, will make him tough to stop.
Would he compare to Keith Byers? I think he's very similar, slightly smaller. Big Keith played at 245!

What? The article is from a SC site...he says he is still committed. For God's sake, his mother already painted the house S&G.

Relax...this one is a done deal.

I agree, I just posted it because I found it, im not saying or worrying that he is decommiting, sorry for not writing my views, but 21 is right, his mother couldnt be any more proud of him for staying in Ohio.

"There is no place like home".....

This was Chris Well's reply to BSB reporter just prior o boarding his plane in LA to head home. He was asked if he could say something to reassure OSU
fans about his commitment.( As per BSB)
