A lot of Buckeyes will be jumping on our bandwaggon! GO CARDS!

Yup, Phoenix is only a small drive from Davis-Monthan AFB (Tucson, AZ). I hope my wife isnt deployed this fall, I would love to grab tickets for the Cards/Rams game - Beanie and JL going against each other!!!

Anyways, I think this club will be a good fit for him. Its a mature team that seems to know how to get quality production from its players. They wont steer him in the wrong direction and [censored] up his career.

I'm glad we turned reagdog into a Cardinals fan. That guy was lost before we came along.

GO CARDS!

Yeah, thank goodness! I was a Detroit Lions fan before Beanie got drafted by the Cards and my Lions took Stafford. I'm switching teams because the Ford family is a bunch of idiots that can't run a football franchise or a car manufacturing company. I would still be a Lions fan if they took all tOSU players for every pick they had. Stupid Lions. I'm moving to AZ too to help support the Cards.

Hey I'm a Lions fan..... I gre up a Detroit pro franchise sports fan in everything but the NBA due to the influence of my uncle who was from the Toledo area. But more importantly yeah why the hell did they take a quarterback and a TE in the first end when their defense couldn't stop a highschool offense. I probably would of taken Jason smith then traded down a few spots picked up Laurinitius and hoped Beanie would fall to us at 33 becuase that would of been awesome.

Stafford was the correct choice at #1. You don't pass on a franchise quarterback. Pettigrew and Delmas are certainly more questionable picks, even if they were the best players at their positions.

I'm just curious as to why people feel that he's a franchise quarterback. He's certainly not a bad quarterback, but it seems as though he gets a lot of credit for being consistently mediocre while having a strong arm.

Either way, Detroit is a career graveyard. It doesn't matter who they picked.

I look at it as a "remediation for the soul". We simply solve problems for others (whether they want the solving or not).

You're too young to be a Lions fan. The only people who support the Lions are those that had to listen to games on radio before TV. The only reason that stuck was, because Thanksgiving was one of the few days the kids were in from working on the farms.

My goodness! What a sad freaking lot we three are: fans of the Bungles, Clowns, and Cry-ons.

I could mention that Barry Sanders was also great; but I think they picked him by chance instead of any rational thought.

I've been wondering the same thing as your first paragraph, and figuring for the same on the second.

You pass on a franchise QB if you have one of the worst offensive lines in football.. Franchise QBs are only franchise QBs if they succeed. They usually don't when they have terrible offensive lines.

Nice! You did my homework for me here. PHX is a decent drive or easy flight from Los Angeles...

Don't believe anything Buckyle says and only believe 50% of what I say. Buckyle is a bandwagoner at best, but he talks a good game. I think there are only 2 Cardinals fans on this website, me and Starbucks. I have lived in AZ since 1982 and been a Cards fan since they moved to AZ. I have no ties to the Detroit Lions. I feel sorry for them because my Cardinals have sucked for so long that I understand their pain. Go Cards!
