RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

Beanie has 2,185 yards in his two-year career...he needs 1,815 yards this season to reach 4,000 yards. That 1,815 yards is only 206 yards more than he had last year (1609) when he had a bum ankle and bad wrist. Average that 206 yards out over 13 games this season and that's only 16 yards per game more than last year...I'm thinking that's quite reachable by a fully-healthy Beanie.

Maybe, maybe not. While I don't doubt Wells, you have to figure some of his carries may go to Saine, Pryor, Herron, Thomas...

I agree but it's a bit more manageable given the names you mentioned.

Saine? We are lining him up in multiple spots besides RB. He will get his touches.

Pryor? Doubtful he takes too many carries from Beanie.

Herron? Depends on where in the depth chart he falls. He is competing with senior Mo Wells and Saine.

Thomas? He is a WR for the most part.

He'll get his 20 carries per game averaged over the course of the season, i.e., you can count on him having 220 carries under his belt going into The Game, and you can bet the house he'll have 20+ carries against ya'll...

It's entirely possible he may not need 20 carries per game. With the offensive firepower you return (and the defense) , games may be ending early, and the backups could see the field quicker.
