Had to chuckle when I looked at Archie's TD totals, anyone remember Pete Johnson?

Sure. A guy who had 270+ carries and over 1600 yds in one season isn't a workhorse. Kinda dumb if you ask me.

Watch them play and tell me they run the same way. They don't. Beanie was the better back by a good bit but he didn't take on contact the same way.

per internet buzz, hyde submitted to see where he would fall for nfl draft. doesn't necessarily mean anything, but thinking about it, he might actually have less touches next year with hall back and a stable behind him.

I really doubt that. From what I've seen, Carlos, Rod Smith and maybe even Brionte are better tail backs than Hall. I think Hall is involved in the passing game as much as the running game when he gets back.

If I was a junior with aspirations of playing in the NFL, I would absolutely submit paperwork to the NFL. What's the downside to that?

No he didn't. Barring some miracle Hyde will be the feature back again next year and will get the bulk of the carries if he comes back. He's earned that.

Typical comment on here. I can't wait for the (insert name) next great whatever. Be content with what you have. The guy is pretty damned good at what he does. I'd love to see him in the scarlet and gray for another year.
