Carlos is the perfect example of why you celebrate every recruit. You never which one is gonna grow up to be THE MAN.

He was pretty highly regarded coming out of high school. #1/#2 FB nationally by Scout and Rivals, respectively. 4* on both sites.

True, but I don't think many of us expected him to become a 25 carry a game, wolverine devouring, touchdown machine. :)

Everyone in my section was yelling "Feed Hyde!!" You always hear commentators say "____ gets better as the game goes on." Hyde epitomizes that statement. He punishes tacklers. Dude knows how to finish runs.

When you have a big back to use in a game like that, you've got to ride him for a lot of the day. Glad to see they did it at the end, but for most of the game there was no way Michigan was stopping the inside zone, and they knew it

Love this guy. Grows up in Ohio. Moves to Florida as a kid. Doesn't get caught up by some of the flashy schools down there and always wants to get back to Ohio. To get to Columbus.

Has some rough years, some growing pains, meets a new coach in Urban Meyer who isn't impressed with his resume and attitude, and instead of packing it in and playing the blame game, Carlos works. And works. And gets better. Gets healthy. And then just explodes into a great player with one more season to go down as a Buckeye Legend:osu:
