Imagine (in some alternate universe) being an Ohio guy with offers from OSU and LSU, yet LSU offers earlier playing time, a better chance to win championships and an atmosphere that better fits your desire to achieve personal greatness. Even with logic staring you in the face, it would insanely hard to turn down the opportunity to be a Buckeye. I get the feeling this guy is going through the reverse of that. It's a great problem to have as a recruit, but either choice will be bitter sweet. I really appreciate when recruits are no-nonsense like this and I wish him the best with a very tough decision.

Defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence—who is set to announce his college choice Friday between Ohio State and LSU—is No. 105 in the final slate, while defensive back Damar Hamlin is No. 126. Wide receiver Sam Bruce is No. 47.

The Buckeyes are yearning for another defensive tackle in the class, so Lawrence is of top priority. And, it seems like the teachers at his high school aren't making things easy on him with his decision date three days away.
