Rams Owner passes away.

Regardless... to make a joke from something like this (essentially wishing death upon someone else) reveals a lot about your character. Stay classy.

Well, just because someone died doesn't mean anyone has to suddenly like them. Georgia Frontiere was a pretty terrible person all around, she's dead, it's a good start to the year.

what did she do that was that terrible? Not disagreeing with you, but other than leaving LA, which was probably a good move considering nobody in LA cares about pro football, I don't know much else about her.

Well, leaving LA really has little bearing on me, she just wasn't a very good person. Example, her husband died, she inherited the team then promptly fired her dead-husbands son. There's some pretty good info here Sign Up that will give you an idea of how people in SoCal saw her and dealt with her. She just seemed to take credit for everything the Rams did for a while after her husband died, traded away people like Erik Dickerson who should have retired a Ram and a lot of moves that really didn't sit well with people here.

I was never a rams fan or a raiders fan as a kid, she just spotlighted a lot. My grandparents wouldn't let me be a Bengals fan, after Boomer my grandfather said he wouldn't put anyone through that kind of miser. We went to Raiders games but as a kid it wasn't exactly a family friendly environment and the Rams just never really did it for me, the Parents would take me South to Jack Murphy Stadium to see San Diego play because it was a lot more family friendly.

Well coming from a Bengals fan, she is alright by me.

She didn't show any loyalty to her family...that's fine by me. Instead, I have to live with Paul Browns' relatives running the franchise into the ground. Can't wait until son of Paul finally "leaves"...oh, but wait, then his dumbass daughter and son-in-law who will take over....

Worth noting that Steve Rosenbloom has done nothing of great significance in the football world since his ouster by Georgia Frontiere. Just saying.

EDIT: tibs I generally agree, the counter parallel example of nepotism to no good effect in the Bengals case is a good one to cite.

So just how long did you know her personally ? Just curious as to how you know she is a bad person, or just did some things you didn't like?
