ESPN - Oakland Raiders expected to release Pro Bowl CB DeAngelo Hall on Wednesday

Hall isn't the only Raider under consideration for release. Wide receiver Javon Walker received an $11 million signing bonus and a $1 million base salary this year, but he has only 13 catches in his first seven games with the Raiders. The other players on Davis' list are unknown.

At his Monday press conference, interim Raiders coach Tom Cable said he was thinking of making more changes in the starting lineup. Since taking over for Lane Kiffin, Cable has benched wide receiver Ronald Curry and safety Michael Huff. If Davis gets his way, some changes might be permanent.

This organization sucks at building anything. It can't even keep a shitty team together for half a season.

I don't get to watch the Raiders much, but why in the fuck were Curry and Huff benched? I thought Huff was showing improvement, and Curry was their best WR last year, probably their best offensive player.

Seriously, just when you think Al Davis can't seem any more insane, he does something like this. If I were a Raider fan, I'd be petitioning Goodell to intervene. Dementia is a terrible thing.

Al DAvis doesn't seem to care if the team is good, only that they are HIS team and he can do what he wants with em, nyeah.

Sad but true.

Since you're an Oakland fan, can you explain why Huff and Curry were benched? Were they playing badly? I find it odd that they would have a turnaround big enough to get them benched.

I thought Hall was having a good year, too. At least a decent one. But I haven't watched the Raiders much..

Hall has sucked donkey dick (literally-Denver) since he was torched in week 1 against the Donkeys. He's gotten burnt EVERY game. He leads the team in picks with 3, but he can't cover anyone. His man up skills suck.

Curry has not been playing much all year, I'm not sure why. He only has 8 catches and hasn't scored since week 1. Thw whole offense blows, well the running game was decent until McFadden got turf toe, now it sucks, too.

Huff lost his job to Hiram Eugene.

As bad as this team is, they played hard under Kiffen. Aside from the ass kicking in week 1 from Denver, they were in every game late in the 4th quarter. Since the firing, It appears they've thrown in the towel.
