question for the home chemist's around

The first one is what most of the trees look like, various splotches about the property.

The second is along a fence row and creek, the much more mature trees, not looking to get rid of all of either kind, just thin them out to ease mowing.

......can someone please make it snow less in :oh::io:, I would like a yard I can't see across......

dozer would work as buckyle said, from the looks of it get yourself a good size tractor and a bush hog, shit rent one and beat the hell out of it, buy all the insurance coverages or whatnot and beat on about a 65+hp tractor with a 6ft bushhog. that being said if youre a girly man wear a helmet and a flack jacket. oh yeah and if you do the bushhog, sit at an angle, so that way you dont take it in the back, if you sit at an angle youll "deflect" the stuff....

Do you not read?

That is the property we bought, and even when we move, that will be pasture. :biggrin:

edit, the oreintation of this photo is about the same as the others, just facing the opposite direction. The house on the right is a neighbor, but that is about where the parcel ends and where the road is. That is my little buddy on his 4 wheeler. :)

Eh, funny man. How do you think we beat down the 5-8 ft weeds to start with? :p The pics may not do justice to the trees, at ground level they are 3 or more in in diam for the small ones). Started with a Case 574, and a 4 ft brush hog circa the 40's (ie; no shear pins and much thicker grade steel with "whip tips" :biggrin:) we did take out quite a bit of stuff 1.5 and smaller. Dad wanted to buy a new BH, and gave the old one away, I miss the old one. Point being, if I just kept mowing everything down like that it would be pretty painful for the cows and horses if they stepped on them, that is why I want to remove the stumps. I chainsawed them more than low enough to mow over, and you can trust me, I have been whacked in the back of the head with sticks and whatnot thrown by the mower. Pop's had 40 some odd acres on set aside back in the early 90's. If you know about that you know it has to be mowed down in the fall.

Yard, pasture, what's the difference except for some wandering cows or horses? :wink2: It's still almost too big too see across, you own it, and it's covered in grass and other vegetable matter.

See the white stuff on the ground in the new picture? That's snowwwwwwwwwwwwww. Can you say it with me, snow?

and even at that it doesn't quite fullfill my dream location wich would be one where I can A) Walk out the front door and get the mail in my skivy's and no one would know B) Tell the world what I really think about it outside at the top of my lungs and not have to worry about offending someone, but it'll have to do.

One minor change, and you can do both those things in New York.
