Question about Columbus

A bunch of my friends will be in Columbus for a conference this week, and one of them asked me if you could walk from the COTA center downtown to the Convention Center easily and safely. I was going to tell her that she should be fine during the day. Is this the case?

I wouldn't be too worried during the day. Just stay out of alleys and there shouldn't be much too worry about.

COTA main office, I believe.

It's probably a little less than a mile walk. From the COTA office on East Broad St go west (about a block) to High St (turn right) and straight up (north) on High St till you get to the Convention Center (it is on the east side of the street). There should be no problem at all in the day time. Broad Street and High Street are well light (i.e. pretty safe) even at night.
