Just buy a pair of replacement lamp assemblies from eBay and be done with it. Most makes/models are under $100 for a pair.

Also true... especially ones that get this discoloration. I needed to do a VW and it was gonna be $200, so I did my Jeep at the same time... next time, VW gone, Got new assemblies for the Jeep.

I ordered new headlights online and replaced them. Took me about a 30-45 minutes once I figured out how to take the old ones out. God I love Youtube for this sort of thing. About $85 and time.
