QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

I differ in how I think I would handle certain situations that TP has involved himself in (yet I don't know for sure because I have never actually been a celebrity athlete since the age of 14), but I am 100% glad this young man chose tOSU and appreciative of how he has increased our great Buckeye Tradition & History during his first 3 years!

Awesome game TP.....I hope to watch you add to your legacy as one of the great Buckeye quarterbacks of all time next season!

Played terrific tonight - and the post game humility was appreciated....but (there's always a but) I'm not sure I liked his reply the question of his return - "right". I hope I'm wrong, but I still think he is the biggest recruit this off season.

GREAT GAME TP - Go Bucks!

I listened to the question three times and just figured he thought she said or only heard her say "see you next year" and not the whole thing of "will we see you next year". I really think people look for the negative in everything.

Great game TP!!!

Pryor really thrived in the up tempo game plan in the first half. I wish JT would do that more. Going back to the clock grinding Tresselball was my biggest frustration with the 2nd half of this and Wisky game, but I'm not going to dwell on that. It was great to see TP shine and hope to see him cap off his career by coming back and demonstrating that he has developed the mental game to match his physical skills.

question: how many of you will hate pryor if he does decide to go to the NFL this year? will he be dead to you since he is going against his word to tressel? or is it not as bad because he played the best game of his career and beat a SEC team in the sugar bowl? i have to be honest, if he left i wouldnt be as mad, especially with braxton miller coming in, but i would be very dissapointed since he is basically lying to coach tressel and buckeye fans...i think it would be a dumb move to go to the NFL because he is clearly not ready if he wants to be a NFL QB, but at the same time with the suspensions for next year i can see why he would leave

I don't even want to think about these guys breaking their word and going to the NFL. Personally I think it would be a mistake for all of them. I don't know how good Braxton Miller is, but I doubt he will be as good next year as a 4th year TP.
Being part of the Buckeye family will be far more financially rewarding to all of these guys than going in the draft this year. Hopefully the rest of the team can hold it together for 4-5 games next year until these guys get back and then they can make another run at the Big 10 and BCS.
To answer your question think Lebron.

If any of them do go pro...they better not say "I'm taking my talents to the NFL"

Did TP ever give an explanation in the post-game presser about how he injured his ankle? It appeared that he hurt it on his half yard plunge for the first down. However, the replay didn't seem to show him pushing off at any unusual angle. Did it get twisted in the pile?

I thought that his performance last night was tremendous, given the heightened circumstances prior to the game. When TatGate was first revealed, I thought that Coach T would sit everyone down for the game, especially TP. However, I came to the conclusion weeks ago that they should play. TP stepped up BIG TIME and showed what a true Buckeye he is. Even if he only plays 10 games next year, I think he's THE BEST quarterback that tOSU has ever had (and I've been a Buckeye for well over 50 years). Can't wait until September!! :oh:

The replay showed & talked about how a pile of bodies landed on his ankles.

I may not always like what comes out of his mouth, or his fingers on his twitter account, but he is a great football player plain and simple. More often than not, he steps up in the biggest games and plays his best. He's not a perfect player or quarterback, but I want him on my team. In the end, you play to win the game and he wins games.
