QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

or maybe he is too busy practicing, working out, and studying to follow what is going on on internet message boards about lebron. He has said before that he and lebron are friends....or at least they text a lot.

He has time to follow what everyone in the media is saying about him but has no clue what Ohio thinks of Lebron?

I mean cmon, seriously TP? A LARRRRGGEEE portion of the fanbase you're trying to win back over after all the recent [Mark May] would [censored] on a miami heat hat if given the opportunity - and you're going to wear it in pregame warmups AT THE GOD DAMN SUGAR BOWL?!

....*sigh*

It's pregame warm ups. He maybe should have figured he'd be on camera during them at some point, but come on. He's out there throwing the ball around who gives a shit.

This post just shows how it has everything to do with what you just said it doesn't, otherwise it would not have chapped your ass so bad.

Fuck. :p

That's some pretty awful logic. Either that or some pretty terrible reading comprehension.

What chaps my ass is that people like you are so quick to dismiss comments about a person's character or personal decision making by bringing up something entirely unrelated and irrelevant to the conversation. I couldn't give a fuck about LeBron. I've never been an NBA watcher and couldn't give two shits about the Cavs, but it's obvious that a person with LeBron's lack of character shouldn't be a "role model" for ANYONE. It could be a complete overstatement and a misinterpretation of the facts, but for TP to be warming up with a Heat cap on suggests that he is in fact emulating and taking the advice LeBron gave him to "fuck the haters" and "embrace your role as the villain", etc...

Don't even bring that bull[Mark May] around here.

This has NOTHING to do with anyone's feelings toward LeBron leaving the Cavs and has nothing to do with whomever TP wants to be a fan of. It's about representing yourself in the best light and showing allegiance and respect. Seriously, don't even start that [censored]ing nonsense about how everyone is butthurt about LeBron. If you can't see the [censored]ing forrest for the trees I would advise you to sit this one out.

[censored]. :teeth:
I agree that it's very poor judgment on his part.

Only because that is what you want to take from him wearing said hat, which is why I said what I said about your post.

Seriously. Let. It. Go. It really is not the big deal that you are trying to make it out to be.

Bottomline, you represent a state that has very hard feelings regarding Lebron and Miami.... Everybody knows this, and he knows this... use your damn head and wear a different hat... The kid looks for attention in all the wrong places... Fine, embrace the villain role, but I'm pretty sure you don't want to be the villain to your own fan base... especially after just embarrassing the school, team, and fans with the gold pants incident..

Time will tell, but it seems to me that the recent trouble for the Buckeye-5 may end up being a parallel to the trouble Troy had that lead to his dramatic (attitude) turnaround. That is certainly not to say either Troy or Terrelle were under-performing on the field, but certainly were doing questionable things off the field and showing less than desired leadership. In Troy's case, he really seemed to have matured following his issues, and it appears that Terrelle's issues may be a similar catalyst for him.

Time will tell for sure if this humbleness and maturity sticks, but I was REALLY impressed by his comments in the post-game interviews. He apologized multiplied times for his actions and gave lost of love to both his teammates and the Razorbacks. Again, I was so thankful to see this from TP.

Either way - hell of a game TP! :oh:

I'm gonna love seeing the title of this thread updated to show 2011 Sugar Bowl MVP as well.

He wasn't perfect (he never is) but damn TP did what he does best to win this game. He had about 5 or 6 3rd and Long runs that HAD to be had. Then going out at the end of the game and manning up on that ankle. He's got a lot of growing up to do and I've criticized him in the past (and will probably still do in the future) but this kid is tough. He's a man (although he's not 40) and I can't wait to see what happens in the future with this guy.

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.
