For FUCK'S sake!! We should only care about the 2011 SUGAR BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP HAT he wears when the game is over.

Build a bridge.

Get.

Thank you, Terrelle. You are all Buckeye and for those who doubted you... Apologies.

Played terrific tonight - and the post game humility was appreciated....but (there's always a but) I'm not sure I liked his reply the question of his return - "right". I hope I'm wrong, but I still think he is the biggest recruit this off season.

GREAT GAME TP - Go Bucks!

It's going to seem odd to say, but with the emotion of the game, the pain he was obviously in and everything else that was going on I think the question caught him a little off guard even though he had to know it would be coming.

He elaborated on that in the press conference, said he's not ready for the NFL on the field or off and that he needs to mature and learn how to make better decisions. He also said that Coach Tressel has put forth a plan for him and he has to follow it.

Terrelle mentioned that he and Coach Tress had a "plan" that he decided to stick to as far as him coming in and playing in the Sugar Bowl. Seemed pretty hesitant, however he kind of carried on and went to say he didn't think he was ready for the NFL and had a lot of growing up and maturing to do on and off the field.

Tress also mentioned this "plan" later and said as long as we all stick to the plan good things will happen.

I agree...it's up in the air, but gotta lean towards him coming back.

Hearing lots of criticism, even hate for TP before and after the game on Twitter and around campus.

People are relentless. Not sure what more he could have said post-game. It seems that he can do no right.

It frustrates me to hear comments by tOSU fans demeaning his speaking skills and questioning his commitment while he's trying to finish the game on a hurt ankle. I've never heard any criticism this intense by our fanbase of a current player.:(

Especially after: 14/25 221yd, 2 TD, 115yds rushing, a 31-26 victory in a BCS bowl, a public apology, and a promise to return.

...No laws broken, ethical breaches borderline at worst...

oh well. :ohwell: suck it, mark may. :osu:

Anyone who doesn't think TP is a [censored]in' need to STFU and GTFO. Dude proples us in big games. End. Of. Story.

It's really true, people need to gtfo with the constant criticism of TP.

When we recruited him, we were looking to get a guy that was going to make the difference in the big time games. We were spoiled a bit with the whole talk of national championships, but the fact is TP IS the major difference between the offense we fielded 4 years ago in that same stadium and the one we fielded tonight. As he was the difference in the Rose Bowl. That certainly is living up to any sort of possible hype a recruit can have within the realm of reality. And who knows..the National Championship COULD still be in the cards for these guys. We'll need some young guys to step up, but we've had them step up plenty of times in the past

Thanks - didn't see the post game stuff (didn't care to a bunch of OSU only won b/c of suspended players). Makes me feel better about his return...but still not 100%. Here's to a great finish to the recruiting class followed ff by a totally quiet offseason.
