QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Dude's gonna tear it up. Like someone else said, wait til it slows down for him. Game over. He's learning on the fly, and he has all the tools to make him a GREAT quarterback. Wait for it to click. All that matters is the W at the end of the game. Take the what-ifs and shove them up your behind.

I think I may be noticing something with TP's play.

He plays better on the road then at home. He appears to be more decisive and plays more aggressively when he is on the road for some reason.

We'll see what he does against Purdidn't this weekend, but if my premise holds true, he'll play a decent to good game.

Agree. He'll probably have 250-300 yds and 3-4 TDs against Purdue or more. Must be nervous in front of fans.

Terrelle really can make all of the throws when he is focused and calm. He has been fitting the ball into tight spots all season long. If one were to look at Terrelle's passing ability as a Freshman and compare it to his passing ability as a Sophomore, you'd clearly see that he is a better quarterback. Let's give credit where credit is due, shall we?

However, it is time for the coaches to tell him to stop trying to be Superman and to just take what the defense gives him. He has the athletic ability to make the most difficult of throws. To be completely honest, by the time he leaves school, he will be able to make every throw that an NFL QB would need to make. The zip on his ball is just spectacular. He just doesn't know what throw to make yet.

Man, he really is going to be something special, though. To reiterate, there are times when he does something with his arm that just makes my jaw drop to the ground. He just needs to improve his decision making.

The dude can pass.

Just got done rewatching the Wisky game.

Seriously, why are people freaking out? He didn't even play bad...there was just no offensive rhythm. We gotta get the run game going before TP shows the flashes of brilliance that he is prone to show.

It's not just Terrelle...the whole offense just reeks of inconsistency. Three straight scrub games oughta get it all worked out. Hopefully this team will be clicking on all cylinders by the time that last 3 game stretch comes about, ala 2005.

Had this threat last year, but unfortunately it isn't there right now. Hopefully Saine keeps running hard and can become that threat or Herron get healthy and get it going again. He spelled Wells last year and did awesome... so it can happen.

Again, TP cant be perfect every game, and Wisky just wasn't his night to lead this team.

I think what TP needs most (outside of a solid run game) is a #1 receiver. Yeah, Carter, Posey, Sanz, and Flash have shown signs of being a good receiver, but no onehas separated themselves as the most reliable and go-to guy.

Every great OSU QB has had their #1, example from the last decade:

Bobby Hoying - Terry Glenn (Joey Galloway 1a)
Joe Germaine - David Boston
Craig Krenzel - Michael Jenkins
Troy Smith - Santonio Holmes (Gonzo was 1a)

A QB performance can be dictated by its O-Line (last years headache), Running Back, and a solid go-to target in Wide Receiver.

I would say that we have 2 out of the 3 and our Offense is in no-way-shape-or-form as "terrible" or "questionable" as the media makes it out to be.

Were you watching the Ohio State vs. Wisky game? This years? Let's be honest here... TP played poorly. This was not what he's capable of. His slants were high, his out patterns were wide, and his INT was a real head-scratcher. I'm not suggesting he's a bad QB, but he certainly did not play a good game on Saturday. But, I agree, everyone should relax... TP will be an excellent quarterback at Ohio State.

By the way, why is everyone typing in wacko text message language? Is this some sort of stupid joke that I don't understand because I'm too old and clueless? i gess i r 2 stoo ped 2 c y its fun knee. lol.

It seemed clear to me from my seats in 23C that Wisky was daring the Bucks to spread the field and throw deep. The safeties were charging the line at the snap, but our play calling remained running plays, Pyror keepers, or 5-10 yard stop patterns that my great aunt could cover. By the way, all this wealth of speed at the WR position, and a majority of the pass plays are out patterns and curls? WTH? Lets call some patterns where we hit a WR in stride. The only time we did THE ENTIRE game was the last drive of the first half. The only time Wisky safeties had to back-step was that drive (except the occassional running play that broke for yardage). Tress needs to let Pryor stretch the defense. It will do wonders for the entire offense - not just the passing game. Otherwise, expect this treatment from all defenses for the rest of the year. Teams will put a priority on stopping Saine and forcing Pryor to the sideline. He's going to have to make the safeties honest in order to open up the same running lanes that he had last year.
