QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Is TP against playing anything other than QB? Am I the only person who thinks he would be a pretty good WR in the NFL? He might lack quickness that you would like in a WR (probably because he's huge), but he has great speed and athleticism. I'd rather have him lining up at WR for the Browns than anyone on their active roster right now. He would be unstoppable on jump balls in the endzone.
Hasn't this question been covered plenty? He's not a WR, he doesn't like to get hit. He's a QB or not in the league. TP knows this, so I'd think folks here could grasp it as well.

Sorry. i guess I just can't comprehend it. If I had the ability to make millions doing something I would do it even if I didn't really love what it was. Especially if my other option was 50K-80K in the CFL. Rather be Josh Cribbs than Tebow, but that's just me.

Welp he has said he's not a receiver and I don't doubt it. C'est la vie

H Back would be a great option if he were up to it. Not as much blocking and a little more rushing probably than at TE. He also wouldnt be covered by the CBs on the other team most likely. Nightmare matchup.

Shoot, I'd take him at QB. He's a loose cannon, but no moreso than Johny Gymnastics -- and by far more athletic than him. Don't need to bootleg Pryor either, he can throw over the OLine.
I think the issue really is that he doesn't like getting hit... and at some level, I can't blame him. Millions of dollars sounds like a lot, but is it potentially worth losing 20 years of your life, or having your kids grow up with a mentally dysfunctional father (hello Bernie) ? Besides, he's already made his millions.
Best of luck to him wherever he ends up.

Re: According to ProFootballTalk.com, Pryor will receive a $586,000 signing bonus and a base salary of $375,000. In 2012, he will earn $485,000, with the potential for a $20,300 incentive based on playing time. In 2013, his salary will be $595,000 with a $40,700 play-time incentive. And in 2014, his salary will be $645,000 with a 61,100 play-time incentive.

Just sayin': Yeah, he could have grossed around $2M (2011 - 2013) with Oakland; however, after the agent's commissions, 5 game suspension (loss income), taxes, living expenses, and helping his family, etc. he probably has way less than $1M left. I'm not sure what he got from Seattle; but, in the NFL you usually have to make the team (each year) for the contract to kick in and actually get the money.
