QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Wouldn't he be an interesting option for Denver?
Massive change of pace if Manning had to sit out a couple plays
Very entertaining option to have 2 QBs on field for select play(s)
Outstanding mentor to learn from
Has an OL that can protect

Really wonder about what Oakland was thinking bringing in Schaub

It seems like most offensive coordinators prefer to have QBs with similar skill sets though, rather than two guys with very different skill sets. When you've got two very different QBs that usually means they both can't run your offense, at best one of them is only viable for a small package of plays. Can't really practice with two totally different playbooks. It would be awesome if a team could pull off a change of pace like that, but it didn't work out too well for Tebus and the Jets. Hopefully Terrelle gets traded to a team that will utilize him and his talents better.

As far as what Oakland was thinking...I'm not sure they're ever thinking.

Conceptually that makes sense.. but in application I don't see it
Phila - Vick & Foles
Jets - Smith & Sanchez
Redskins - RGIII & Cousins
Raiders - McGloin & Pryor & Edwards

Browns - injury prone and IT prone - OK, ya got me there
Where's your banner?

I would counter that most of those organizations aren't very good and it doesn't matter who their QB is, although Philly at times looked decent. Then again, Vick just got ousted I heard and traded to the Jets, plus he got benched in favor of Foles right? I think for Philly it was less about having two different QBs and more about the fact they didn't have other options. As far as the Raiders, that team has become the Browns the way they rotate QBs, they can't seem to settle on a guy. As far as the Jets, Sanchez was awful and got released, he's more like a 3rd stringer than a 2nd stringer anyway.

Regardless, I just don't think Denver would be a good situation for Pryor unless Manning ends up retiring next year. If it's just for a year he could learn under Peyton and hone his craft some more, then maybe take over after Manning retires. If he's riding the bench for 2 years or more then he's just getting rusty and missing his prime.

Philly would be a great landing spot for Pryor and I am sure Chip Kelly still remembers TP from the 2010 Rose Bowl. Not sure if picking up Sanchez changes their outlook on picking up another QB who wants to be a starter in the NFL. Philly might want him as a role player but I guarantee you TP won't be down for that.

i gotta say if i were cleveland i would rather have TP than either manzier or bridgewater at 4

Shit yeah, why not. He's affordable, he's still a freak athlete with the ball in his hands, when Hoyer gets hurt again, they're going to need someone who isn't going to be immediately executed at the next snap, he's big enough to take a pounding. What's not to like? Definately not saying he's the answer, but, at this point, what could it hurt?

Oh I can't blame him, I think he has the ability to be a good QB in the league if he is placed in the right situation. I'm just saying he isn't going anywhere unless he is the clear starter from Day 1 (based on what he has said).
He could just be saying what he's saying to get away from a place where they think Matt McGloin is the best option.
