QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

His stats from the Michigan game alone should give him a big jump up the OSU record books. :tongue2: Assuming he comes back next year he's on track to break Schlichter's total yards record. And will deserve serious consideration for the best Buckeye QB ever.

Reaching for records (from an earlier Dispatch article)

Ohio State records that quarterback Terrelle Pryor is approaching:
• Most games with 200 yards total offense: Pryor is tied with Troy Smith at 19.
• Most rushing career yards among quarterbacks: Pryor has 1,873, trailing only Cornelius Greene (2,066).
• Most total yards in a career: Pryor has 7,275, trailing only Art Schlichter (8,850).
• Best passing efficiency in a season: Pryor's is 165.2, putting him ahead of Bob Hoying (163.4 in 1995).

Terrelle Pryor says he wants to play basketball again
By: Garrett Downing

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State?s Terrelle Pryor might still have an itch to take the basketball court.

?I want to play basketball again,? Pryor tweeted on Tuesday. He then followed that up with a tweet directed at Ohio State?s David Lighty, saying ?ask ya boy thadd [Matta] if i can try out this year.?

Pryor?s interest in basketball isn?t shocking, given that he came to Ohio State as a multi-sport athlete who was regarded as one of the top football and basketball talents in the country.

In high school, the 6-foot-6 Pryor was a blue-chip recruit in both sports, and he had his pick of college scholarships for either sport. Buckeyes basketball coach Thad Matta also discussed offering Pryor a spot on the basketball team, and was involved in recruiting him to Ohio State.

Going with football has worked out for Pryor, as he has been the Buckeyes starting quarterback since his freshman season. But maybe he still has an interest in playing basketball competitively.

Coach Jim Tressel responded to questions about Pryor?s tweet during his weekly press conference Tuesday, saying that he has not talked with Pryor about playing basketball in more than a year.

Tressel also joked that maybe Pryor was referring to the football team?s tournament in February.
