Here comes the BOOM
The last few drives at least gave us some momentum for next week... outside of the very last pass he looked much more confident and he was finding his receivers, and throwing strikes.

They did do some encouraging things at the end...especially with the 5 wides. Would like to see them do this a little more often. I agree about TP, even with all of his struggles today he kept fighting and didn't cave. Coaches need to start building his confidence back up someway somehow.

Cmon guys...TP looked fairly good today...Yeah he made a couple bad decisions, but this game was not on TP...
Team game today...Defense didn't get offense back on the field! play calling sucked! O-line played terrible! WR's didn't get open!
It was perfect storm, don't put this on TP's shoulders, the guy that every one will be on his nuts while he is taking us to the promise land next year...

One INT on TP for sure...the other was a great play, on a quick play becuase he was getting no time...
I am not saying TP played great, but he showed signs if given time, he can throw the ball, the playcalling was decent at times, the line was decent at times...
What I am saying is that it was not all on TP...

We agree that it is not all on TP. But he didn't play fairly well and few others on the offensive team did today. They are young and their youth showed today. We don't need to sugar-coat it. We got beaten by a better team on the day. We have a young QB and he does not walk on water.

He wasn't exactly leading the troops and getting everyone on the sideline on the same page either after his mistakes. I saw a lot of him sitting by himself pouting on the sideline. It wasn't until they started to make a little comeback in the 4th quarter that I saw him looking @ pictures, talking to coaches, other players and getting into the game. Maybe he should step up, be a man, and try being a leader and not sulking over his mistakes. Maybe then they wouldn't have been in that position against an inferior team @ the end of the game.
And what is the point of having an athletic/mobile quarterback that's affraid of getting hit anyway?

You mention Pryor's emotional demeanor. I don't know if he has a psychological coach, but he needs one. He's young and under a lot of pressure. Too many golden comparisons to live up to perhaps?
I am reminded of a former world #1 golfer, Ernie Els. When a young Ernie played with Jack Nicklaus, Jack said that he expected Ernie to exceed what he had accomplished. What happened? Ernie lacks the mental strength of Tiger Woods. If he starts a round and gets a few bogeys, he gets down on himself and doesn't play well the entire round. Woods takes it as a challenge and responds.
The difference between Tressel and Carr was the same.
It is far too early for anyone on this board who is not personally in contact with Pryor to characterize his emotional strength. However, it is a possible concern that I am sure that the coaches are considering.

I liked what I saw from TP in the final quarter, but his decision making for the other 3 quarters leaves a lot to be deired. Terrelle needs to be knocked down before he is built up, and I think this game may well do the trick. We will see.....I still think that next year is gonna be huge for us and for Terrelle, but I am truly worried whether the O-line will be ready or not.

Some might disagree but his throwing motion is better than last year. There are passes that he throws that are downright poor but keep in mind where he was last year again USC. He has come a long way but still has a long way go. I think that is why people are so frustrated.
