Hello and a BIG 
to all you fellow Buckeye worshipers. I am new to this forum, and this is my first post. While I still have more then enough faith in TP, I am discouraged by one thing that I have noticed this season. He seems noticeably UNCOMFORTABLE out on the field, more so this season then his freshmen year. Does anyone else feel me on this one? He doesn't look comfortable throwing the ball AT ALL, and this is my current concern with the kid. Losing to Purdue is just unacceptable, all those turnovers are unacceptable.
Anyhow, it's good to be here and Hopefully we can win out and still take the Big TEN.

I am not going to say JB should play or not, I have no idea but here is what I have seen from Pryor:
1. He is afraid of contact. He stops before contact almost every time.
2. He can't run the option. He will not turn up field (see #1).
3. He makes to many poor decisions.
4. He is inaccurate and late on passes.
5. He is showing visible frustration to his WR's.
I have high hopes for him in the future but if he does not begin to progress by the end of this season/beginning of next season we are going to have to start looking elsewhere.

Let the cards fall...
I am not going to pile on Pryor here, he had a bad game. That being said, the coaches have to find a way to get his confidence back up. He looks like he is awash from a mental standpoint. Tressel needs to find a way to fix him, because I think a lot of the blame for his problems goes back on coaching. It's the harsh truth here, normally I would not say that.

I remember seeing the competitive fire with Pryor that I always thought seperated him perhaps even more than his talent. He is so mentally uncomfortable right now...opposing defenses are getting in his head and tempering his competitive drive. Without his confidence, that competetive drive is gone and so is his decision making.
He is a true sophmore but with the amount of experience he has, you would still expect better decision making. If we had an unheralded true freshman in the game, I would expect better decision making. I, not unlike many other Buckeye fans, do not expect him to put the team on his shoulder and win games yet. I expect him to not lose them by being smart with the football...both fumbles could have been easily avoided and only one of the two INT's was a good play by the defender today. It is safe to say that even sub-par QB play today could have won the game and at this point in the season, that is all I want. Expect? At this point, not much at all...to be honest, I hold my breath every time he drops back to throw.
Don't take this as a slam, it's just the reality of the situation. I'm not going to predict "Pryor will learn from this and get better." To this point, we have said that nearly every game and it hasn't happened. Just look at this empirically: The first 3 games he was 42 of 76 (55%) with 4 INT's and 4 TD's. He also rushed for 176 yards and 2 TD's. The last 4 games he has been 46 of 84 (55%) with 6 TD's to 4 INT's but has fumbled more often and has only 191 yards rushing and 2 TD's. The statistics have been consistent and the sad truth is that the numbers could be far worse if some of the defenses we faced weren't terrible (Illinois, Indiana, Navy, Toledo). Now on the other hand, I won't venture a "Pryor is going to be a bust" like so many fans are eager to. Pryor's potential is through the roof but it will be potential only until he gets a better grasp mentally on the game. This may or may not happen, so perhaps we drop expectations and former accolades and wait and see. I think it's fairly safe to say it won't likely happen this year, especially with PSU, Iowa and TSUN coming up, but perhaps it comes junior and senior year.
