QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

I'm hoping the ability to keep the defense honest with the passing game will allow him to get bigger chunks of yardage when he does run. I'm still waiting for a vince young TD run (He had a long one against minnesota and almost took one against mich st). But I love Terrelle's ability when he tucks it to pick up yardage in 5 yard chunks. If he can minimize the big sacks we wont be held to many 3 and outs.

Troy lost some of his escapability, but he was never a particularly effective designed runner.

They'll still let Pryor run, but we'll see whether teams like PSU leave WRs wide open to try and slow down his feet. My guess is they don't sell out like that again and he has plenty of room to operate in happy valley.

I kind of think with our young WRs, the Nits would spy TP all game unless one of the WRs is killing them(Nits lost a lot in the secondary) Bradley tends to call a conservative game in general. Spy TP and zone secondary, make TP go through his progressions. And they'll hope their DEs can whip our tackles.

Pretty good things to say about Terrelle so far.

"The Lebron James of college football."

Also said that he has the potential to be the best quarterback in college football history. :so:

From ESPN, I'm speechless. I don't even think they mentioned the two championship game losses.

Just heard this not 30 seconds ago.

Whoever was commentating believes that Pryor could "rewrite the position"
and when its all "said and done, he has the potential to be the best ever"
.... thats saying a helluva lot that can't be put into words.

Naturally the other anchor immediately replies "better than Tebow?"

Can't say I didnt see that one coming.

Honestly, it's fair to mention his name. His accomplishments are right up there with the best, maybe better.

Not saying I think he's the best, but as far as what he's accomplished goes, he's up there.

Well, as they cut away to commercial, that douchebag Kevin Negandi asked if the Big-10 is too slow.

They just had to ruin a rare, good segment. :smash:

That's seriously the first time I've heard them praise an OSU player without mentioning "struggles" of the program. Ever.

EDIT: Not counting the insults at the Big 10 as a whole.
