QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Question... How do you see him progressing stat wise?

Here's my guess

2008: 1250 passing yards, 63%. 12 td/4 int's. 550 yards rushing, 6 TD

2009: 2000 passing yards 65% 20 Td/5 int. 800 yards rushing 10 TD

2010: 2500 passing yards 65% 25 Td/7int. 1000 yards rushing 13 TD

What do ya'll think?

I'd imagine his rushing yards would go down the better he gets at passing, and with the emergence of a deep threat WR, such as Posey/Thomas/etc.

Are these stats beard-aided or non beard-aided?

Agree... add in RB threats like Beanie (:paranoid:) and Herron along with newcomers Berry, Hyde, and Hall and we will only see situational runs for Pryor. My guess is his scrambling ability will develop like Troy's did... to get out of trouble to give his receivers more time to get open.

With beard, just multiply all positive stats by beard.

P = Positive Stats
B = Beard

PxB = Eleventy Billion Million

Moe: Say, Barn, uh, remember when I said I'd have to send away to NASA to calculate your bar tab?
Barney: Oh ho, oh yeah, you had a good laugh, Moe.
Moe: The results came back today. (reading a printout) You owe me seventy billion dollars.
Barney: Huh?
Moe: No, wait, wait, wait, that's for the Voyager spacecraft. Your tab is fourteen billion dollars.

As for Pryor, Vince Young was able to put up 1000 yards rushing every season (missed it by 2 yards his RS freshman year). They don't like being compared, but I'd like to see Pryor break 3000 yards passing and 1000 yards rushing.

I'm greedy though. :biggrin:

How about this...

2009: 13-0
2010: 13-0
1011: 13-0

As far as Pryor's stats go, I think his rushing yards will be fairly high next year, but go down his junior year if he progresses like I thin khe will. I think he will break a lot of passing rcords while at OSU IMO. Among them being TD's in a season, TDs in a game. I say that because even though he didn't attempt many passes per game he found a way to get a good amount of passing TDs.

ESPN - Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Terrelle Pryor not available for media day

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Ohio State starting quarterback Terrelle Pryor was not among the 30 Buckeyes players made available during Fiesta Bowl media day Friday morning.

Pryor and center Mike Brewster, both freshmen, were the only two starters who didn't appear at the bowl's media gathering. Texas brought all of its starters to its portion of media day.

Ohio State coach Jim Tressel said Pryor, who hasn't met with reporters since after the regular-season finale Nov. 22, spent the morning in meetings in preparation for Monday's matchup against the No. 3 Longhorns (Ohio State is No. 10).

"We were asked to bring 30 players and we sent in a list of players," Tressel said. "I did get one call asking, 'Did you happen to miss any?' I said, 'Well, you might be talking in terms of Terrelle and Mike Brewster because they're starters.' But they're freshmen and we decided when we were counting to 30 that there were 30 others who were afforded the opportunity to be there."

...

Fiesta Bowl president and CEO John Junker said he could not recall a team not making its starting quarterback available before the bowl game. The BCS media policy asks teams to make all of their starters available before the game, but there isn't a method for enforcement.

"The lack of a clearer policy puts both of us in a difficult situation," Junker said. "What's in the policy is starters, and that may be one thing where Ohio State says, 'We've alternated quarterbacks to start games.'"
Sorry, Fiesta Bowl president and ESPN, the players are more important than the media. :(

This reminds me of the Rose Bowl throwing a goddamn hissy fit because Joepa got sick of giving the same goddamn interview about his hip and declined to give another on game day. Somebody needs to reminds these fucks that it's a football game, not interviewapalooza '09.
