QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

And I don't like that B Saine put up a fairly weak fight to get inside position (though I give him props on his effort to break up the pass once he lost position) on the route instead of trying to make the catch from behind the defender.
It would be pretty hard to put up a good fight when the DB hooks your arm..

At the current rate, it will take a little less than a week for this tread to surpass the Troy Smith thread in total number of posts.

Considering what Terrelle is about to do to Purdue, it may happen by Monday.
That'll happen when a recruit gets a 2,900 post head start.

Poor Troy. BP wasn't even around until his RS Freshman year.

I watched and rewatched the play and I see nothing showing the DB hooking Saine's arm...boxing out a little maybe once Saine gets behind him, but I think Brandon should have run his route to gain inside position.

Again, it seems like splitting hairs on the play because I think Terrelle recognized the one-on-one situation, threw a nice ball, and more often than not B Saine will either make that catch or draw an interference call. I just wish he would have cut in front of the DB instead of willingly run right behind him from what I see.

Next time I bet he will.

I hope he rips up Purdue. From what I saw in that last drive at Wisky, he looked decisive and knew what to do. He's already growing up big time. Bad news for other teams. I think he really breaks out stat-wise against Purdue.

Tressel just said on the Call-In Show that Pryor has the quickest option flip that he has ever seen. High praise.

"If you're the pitch-man; you'd better be ready."

"You can't just look for his hand to drop like with other guys (paraphrased) -- He just flicks his wrist"
