QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

"He was foolish to try and hit a linebacker like that. I didn't see the hit and would have enjoyed it at first, but this just makes it more likely that defensive players will try to hurt him. He didn't need to do it. No matter how much fun it was, he needs to control those urges. He's too important to be injured on a play like that in a game that is decided."

I actually watched that play a few times after it happened, because I felt the same way the first time I saw it. However, TP was starting to let up, was approaching the sidelines, and saw a linebacker lower his shoulder. All he did was lower his, and extend his arm, and the linebacker went flying. It was awesome. I think his confidence and toughness is helping this team tremendously. I cannot wait to see him really start airing the ball!

:oh:

Missed the "hit" but heard about it. Would like to see it. I hope he doesn't do it anymore but that's just my opinion

If he didn't do it, he was getting hit with a considerable amount of force. He was on his way out of bounds, the defender had it coming.. should've wrapped him instead of lowering his shoulder. TP beasted and that guy felt it.

TP looked very good today. When he turns on the jets, he flies. Can't wait to see him two years from now.. it'll be something special.

I love watching him and Beanie run. Beanie is my favorite RB since Eddie, considering only running "style". TP seems to...float...maybe...down the field. To me, it doesn't look like he's even trying, yet he's fifteen yards down field on 3 1/2 steps. He doesn't appear to be fast to me, until, like today when he tried to put on the breaks to shift on a couple defenders, and it takes him five yards to try and slow down. It's just ridiculous.

+1 for BUCKYLE, because I can't spread more rep to you.

The dude doesn't run, he glides. It's like watching a figure skater on ice. Like Brian Boitano or some shit, but way better and in a football sense.

Or maybe like, just a guy skating on ice really smooth like, it's like that.

Dude...are you drunk? You're comparing Brian Boitano to Pryor?

Is it just me, or does anyone see Pryor becoming one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of college football? This kid has all the tools, an off-season working on his mechanics and reads and this kid could be good, real good.

We all knew he could run the ball, and he sure as hell does that well, but I didn't know he had the kind of touch and vision he has shown today and against Troy.

Coach Tressel I know is so excited about this kid, because he can bring back the Troy Smith-esqe offense and spread them out a bit. The Trojans, Michigan, Penn State, Illinois and Wisconsi are in for a real world of hurt next year when they face TP.

"Glides", that's it. He glides. No more talking about ice skating though, or else jo's gonna be all over this thread.

The team is going to have some rough spots with TP as a freshman, but with his running ability and his desire to be a throw first, run second QB, he is going to learn fast and could turn into something really special.

He sure is fun to watch. He does glide when he runs and he sure eats up the yards with each stride. It will be a joy to watch him grow up over the next few games and years.
