Agreed! Great picture!

Appealing on many levels; Lion Hunters, muti-award winners, passing of the torch, perennial pro-bowlers, etc., etc.

Not only that, but it's an example of team togetherness. It's great to see these experienced guys who have been here for a while and take these young guns under their wings as their, I guess you could say apprentices. It goes to show that these guys aren't about I or me, rather us, and that is made possible by Tressel. He teaches these guys these things, and the players pass them on. This is one of the reasons why I think this team is going to be really special this year, not just because of the record, but the "togetherness".

:oh:

I didn't say he wouldn't see the field, And there has been comment about the fact that he throws with his arm, not with his mechanics.
No way JT says derogatory things about any player in any case.

No, you didn't say that, What you said was his machanics would limit his playing time and his machanics simply doesn't factor in to his playing time.
Todd Boeckman is the only factor that keeps TP from taking every snap.

JT is not going to say anything negative. That is obvious. But the amount of praise he heaped upon a freshman is really unusual. A lot of adjectives there.

As amazing as a talent TP is, he wont IMO be more relyable than TB this year. He was never a polished passer, and as best buckeye said until he gets the mechanics, and also the offense scheme down, TB will have the leg up on him. What im going to be looking for is how fast he does get the game to slow down for him.

Anyone remember TB being a possible heisman contender mid-last year? It seems to me he just got some first year jitters as even chris wells did sometimes on his first year out. Remember when chris would stumble in plain open field with no one around him lol. As you seen though in his second year on the field he exploded. All we can do is hope TB can explode as well.

and how do you know pryor is not a polished passer? unless youve seen him play in high school like me about 4 times, then you would know hes a great passer. just because his form is a little off, doesnt mean hes not polished as in results of the pass. if i can remember, pryor threw about 63% last year. im sick of everyone sayin he cant pass ONLY because he is a great runner. he got pegged in that stupid stereotype. and along w/ his 30something rushing td's last year, didnt he have about 28 passing. (sorry for the lack of memory of his official stats) EDIT: 23 passing td's and 3 int. WOW thats unpolished!

The coaches say he passes with his arm and that he needs to work on his mechanics. No One said he can't pass.
I believe that when the BTN had their Day at the Bucks practice this was talked about in length.

Hey thats really is great to know!

In my post i also mentioned its not just being able to throw the ball, TB has a huge leg up on him from his knowledge and experience of last year. Those are Not something a freshman can just study overnight and know.

But hey i'll be glad to be proved wrong! Bring on 2008!
