QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

Troy was referenced (by Mussberger I believe?) as Houdini.
I feel this upcoming season- hell, even now... its a more appropriate
nickname for Braxton. Some of the potential sacks and TFL that he's
able to allude shouldn't happen. But it does.

No, no, I'm right there with ya, Tim. I'm thinking about a huge birthday party where everyone named Braxton Miller is invited!

Cool question, bro.

Actually it was Gary Danielson who called Smith Houdini in the 2005 TSUN game when he hit Gonzo in the final minute to take it down inside the 5. Then Pittman trucked a couple nameless Ohio defectors on his way to 6...

...but I digress...

Yeah, I was pretty much hammered on a daily basis from October to May that year. But I appreciate the clear-up.

Wasn't Braxton sacked like 26 times this season?

He evades a lot of defenders, but he goes down a lot as well. Troy just seemed to have a knack for knowing EXACTLY when he had to unload it to avoid a sack, and when to try to get away.

I hope to see the same jump in vision/feel from Braxton as we saw from Troy.

He could have an insane year in 2013. Especially if the recievers step up.

I read somewhere that in drops alone he lost 5+ passing scores and several hundred yards. That should be cleaned up next season, at least a little.

:shake:

I cant freaking stand Tim May. He's like that annoying dude at the barstool next to your friends who butts into your conversation who precedes everything with "actually..." You just want to punch him.
