So, Taylor Martinez for the coaches?

195-308 passing (63.3%) for 2483 yards, 21 TD, 8 INT, 148.3 rating
156 rushes for 833 yards (5.3 avg), 8 TD

vs. Miller's stats:
148-254 passing (58.3%) for 2039 yards, 15 TD, 6 INT, 140.5 rating
227 rushes for 1271 yards (5.6 avg), 13 TD

So, slight edge to T-Magix on passing stats, huge edge to Braxton on rushing, 29-28 total TDs, and oh yeah, 12-0, 63-38, etc.

Still laughing, but you have the Quarterback of the Year in the conference not named first-team All-Big Ten by the Coaches.

This entire process needs to be cleared up, because the Media sometimes get it right, but the Coaches vote via politics.

Man, can you imagine if he puts it all together? I know it's one thing to actually change it, but it's pretty nice to read he know what he has to get better at

During the All B1G selection they talked about Braxton's QB rating in the 4th quarter.

He had a rating of 205, or 3rd best in the nation. That is amazing. Its good enough when the game is on the line he'll put it all out there.

Braxton had a rating of 184.311 for The Game. This was his 4th best rating in his career and his 2nd best this year. In the 2011 games with higher ratings he had 12 attempts (Akron) and 8 attempts (Nebraska).

That last bit is significant. The NCAA requires a passer to have 15 attempts per game (minimum) to be ranked in passing efficiency, and it's not hard to understand why. When a passer throws the ball as seldom as Braxton did last year (157 attempts in 12 games played), the defense brings everyone into the box and passing gets easier. In spite of having more than 8 more attempts per game this year, Braxton's completion percentage went up, his yards per attempt went up and his interceptions per attempt went down. Touchdowns per attempt went down, but a lot of that was having a running game and a running mate (Hyde) that could punch the ball into the end zone at a much better rate than last year.

I'd argue that with Nebraska losing 2 games and having to force comebacks in 3 others, Martinez had to throw more than Braxton did and by design, Braxton's running ability took away significant passing chances as well so I'd lean towards even other than completion%
