oooo, i can see how this one, might not be good

had that thought for a nanosecond... don't give a shit... if it's the case that TP is done (which is yet to be seen for sure) I'm moving on to the next on-field leader

Brax has all the physical tools, I'm as optimistic as I can be for a true frosh if he must step in...

Hopefully, when the dust settles on all this crap, we get to watch an Ohio-born, top-ranked 5-star QB (or the deserving winner of the fall QB battle) play for a Columbus-native, all-Buckeye head coach who was the "next hot assistant" before this meltdown... even when Buckeye life is at its worst... its still no worse - if not much better - than the rest of the B10 and most of the NCAA.

F*ck the haters.

I agree with this part very much, we have so many things that great about our team and I think a deep breath with a little time to reflect would help the "normal" fans realize that it's still a great time to be a buckeye. I sometimes think about our high level of defense we play every year, when you compare it to other schools -even schools with pride in their D- we seem to shine. I think many schools would consider having that level of reliable success almost unrealistic. Who knows, with how Ohio State is now 90% of all sports media and news maybe we even come out on top some how now being firmly in the minds of the next generation of college football fans.

Does Brax remind anyone else of Troy Smith a little bit?

Not really.

I've only seen him a few times but "Pat White with more talent" is what came to my mind. I look forward to seeing him play, but I'm hoping there isn't pressure to rush him out there opening day this season.

The way he makes his cuts are sick though. Pat White doesn't have the moves Braxton has. Watching him play for Wayne was a real treat. He dazzled the crowd just about every time he went out there. He's the real deal.
Based on what I've read about him and his HS film, it seems as if Braxton can make many more throws than White can/could...
Only problem watching film is, the receivers had a rough time getting open with the old coordinator. Mainly because the plays were so predictable, the defenses knew when to drop back into coverage. During his senior season, a little more of the passing game clicked, and he was throwing bombs. Like I said, a real treat to watch.
