QB/WR Braxton Miller (B1G POY, National Champion, OSU HOF)

I don't know if I've ever seen a full speed spin move like that.

He came here when he could have gone anywhere. He stayed when no one would have blamed him for leaving. He has battled thru injuries that would have, and have, derailed careers. He never got in trouble and by all accounts was a stand up guy. I'm forever grateful for Braxton Miller and will continue to be a fan as long as he plays organized sports. I don't care if it's softball. I'll be rooting for him.

Thanks for the memories

Height: 6'2"
Weight: 185
Fourty: 4.47

Dave Berk says that he is one to watch and that he hardly mentions freshman, but believes Braxton is the real deal. Also mentions that his coach says he could be the best player to come out of Wayne, which is saying a lot. Said he was the player that stood out at Miami's 7 on 7 tournament.

My friend from Wayne has been talking about a phenom freshman since summer weight training began and this must be him. Sounds like he is someone to watch in the coming years.

just a quick stroll down memory lane.......

I didn't see this already, sorry if it's up somewhere:

Braxton Miller
Wide Receiver / The Ohio State University

Da da da. Da da da.

Six syllables. I got to the sideline and that’s all I could hear. All of my teammates were looking at me, smiling, shouting — singing. Even the coaches were doing it. Heck, even the waterboys were doing it. It was surreal. Like, a hundred-plus people, standing on the sideline: Looking, smiling, shouting, singing. At me. And they were all singing the exact same thing — the same six syllables.

Da da da. Da da da.

Yup, that’s the SportsCenter theme music. That was our inside joke as a team. When someone makes a play? Yeah, you know — you pat’em on the back, you chest-bump’em, you say, “Nice play,” you tap helmets, that sort of thing. But when someone … makes a play?

Da da da. Da da da.

When the team does that for you, that means you did a little something extra. That means you left your mark. That means they know, at that very second, that they’ll be watching what you just did, again — over and over and over again. On SportsCenter.

Da da da. Da da da.

That means you didn’t just make a play. It means you made a moment.

Some moments, of course, take longer to make than others. That play against Virginia Tech happened in five seconds — but it took me five years to get there.

Actually, it took me 23 years.

Will leave a Buckeye legend. Our most dynamic player through our worst year in decades and turned into not only an uber athlete but an amazing leader as well. Truly wish that this year played out differently for him but we'll never forget what he did. From his dangerous stutter step, sick juke moves, ability to start and stop on a dime and of course the Sportscenter worthy spin move, I don't think any of us can pick our favorite moment as there are so many!rn_ohiostate_nebraska_ms_04.jpg
