Yep. If Smith catches those two sure TD passes, we have 60+ points on the board for the second straight week and Braxton has much better stats.

If I remember correctly, both passes were over 50 yards...would have put Braxton over 300 for the game, and gotten the team to 65 points.

Well, the first one we still ended up with a FG, so we lost 4 pts there.
I can't remember if we scored anyway on the other possession or not.

But yeah, would have made BM's stats look alot better.


I always used to feel that we left a lot of points on the field under Tressel.
We still do now, only difference is we get 50 instead of 20.

I don't think Geno Smith was embarrassed - he still threw for a TD with no INTs. Not a very good game by his standards, but his season is still Heisman-worthy IMO.

I don't understand why a QB who plays on a team with terrible defense should be disqualified from the Heisman race. That criterion would seem to put Braxton out of the picture, too, eh?

I think LSU and Alabama will derail Manziel's campaign. Braxton would be sitting a lot prettier without the drops and this weeks red zone INT.

All purpose:

Geno Smith ......... 2342 yards, 26 TDs
Braxton Miller ...... 2183 yards, 20 TDs
Collin Klein .......... 1584 yards, 17 TDs
Johnny Manziel .... 2356 yards, 24 TDs

Unless anyone thinks Texas A&M is going to win the SEC West, none of these guys will have CCGs.

Never seen a college QB make that throw since him. Brady does it fairly regularly with Gronkowski, but that's a completely different game.

I'm not saying he's the equal of Braxton, but if you haven't seen Johnny Manziell play, you need to. He's exciting as all get-out. Maybe ahead of where Brax was last year - certainly an outstanding athlete, regardless.
