This is true and everything, but hes already on alot of people's heisman list. If he keeps winning and puts up the yardage/touchdowns thats he had he will be a finalist.

Couldn't have said it better. You want to question his passing mechanics, or his decision making, or fumbling, fine, but Miller has carried the ball 27 and 23 times and has put himself in harm's way to gain extra yards and TDs for the team and he doesn't seem like he's going to argue with anyone when they ask him to do that. He has gone out and taken lots of shots and hits and he's gotten back up and gone back in the game. He's a tough player and a gamer and if they can't see that, they're blind.

Most aren't questioning the toughness (and other people are calling out the few that are), just it's an interesting reaction to any type of pain, as apparently he's had a history of just dropping the ball when getting hurt..Nevada was the one started the thread just making an observation, I wouldn't necessarily call him an idiot as his opinions and observations I think are very good.

Its an instant physical reaction for your hands to go immediately to the spot of pain and if there is a ball or anything else in them, to drop it and reach out.

Unless its a gun in a firefight and even then it happens sometimes.


When I was a junior in high school I had my first real injury playing basketball. I tore meniscus on a rebound and I immediately threw the ball back up into the air when I landed. Wasnt even a thought process I just let it go. I can see why Braxton did that but its unfortunate in football that it becomes a turnover situation. No way can you judge his toughness because of that play.
